The frame is made of solid TOON wood. When we refer to solid wood, we mean wood made entirely from the trunk of a tree. Solid wood is the most expensive choice in terms of wood but stands out for its timeless aesthetics.
TOON is a species of mahogany and is a large deciduous tree, reaching 20 m – 30 m (70 ft -100 ft) in height and 1.8 m – 3 m (6 ft -10 ft) in girth, with a wide opening towards its top, and shallow roots. Widely used for furniture making, it is tolerant to any pH and adapts to a variety of soil types, but prefers moist, well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade.
