Material Information:

• Chipboard: Chipboard, also known as particleboard, is a composite wood material made from small wood pieces, usually pine or fir, bonded together under high pressure and temperature using resins. Widely used in furniture construction, interior surfaces, and structural applications. Manufactured from recycled materials, it is resistant to bends, abrasions, and other physical stresses.

• Melamine (LPB): Low Pressure Melamine (LPB) is a synthetic material widely used in the surface treatment of chipboard in furniture and surfaces, due to its durability and ease of maintenance. Applied to substrates such as MDF or OSB to produce durable surfaces.

• Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture construction, offering several advantages over other materials. Highly resistant to wear and tear, ideal for furniture intended for everyday use in demanding environments. Maintains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity in furniture. In addition to the properties mentioned above, metal can have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or conductivity (lead).

Maintenance Instructions:

• Chipboard: To clean chipboard, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and mild detergent. Avoid excessive use of water and keep the surface dry after cleaning.

• Melamine (LPB): To remove stains from melamine surfaces, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Melamine is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from water.

• Metal: For indoor metal furniture, dusting or cleaning with a damp cloth at regular intervals is the recommended choice. However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps for longer protection:
  1. For greater protection, apply a protective cream to your metal furniture, readily available from commercial stores.
  2. If your furniture is treated and painted with the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting), it is highly durable and easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
  3. If your metal furniture is not powder-coated, take extra care and keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover them with special covers and during winter, place them indoors if possible.
  4. If you notice rust, remove it with a rust remover and then apply an anti-corrosive varnish before painting the surface with rust-resistant paint.
