Info: Quilting is a type of fabric or a sewing technique where the seams form various patterns and folds or bumps. In quilting, the fabric is like an “inflatable” that is held by the seams which “sink” the fabric. So, many small puffy bumps are created in the quilting that stand out from each other by the seams. These bumps can be diamonds, squares, stripes, as well as many other designs. The purpose of this style is to break the monotony by creating different patterns on the fabric. In no case should you rub a velvet fabric. Even if you must remove a stain, don’t scrub it. Moisten a soft cloth with water and dab locally on the stain.
An ideal choice for cleaning velvet is also leather (that is, the cloths with which we dry the car).
