Material Information:
- MDF (Medium-density fibreboard): MDF is a derivative of wood. It is produced using resins (glues) to bond wood fibers, which are compressed with special heated presses. It is denser than chipboard and resistant to wear. Additionally, it does not absorb moisture.
- PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride): PVC is a polymer plastic. It is resistant to various conditions, including moisture, chemical corrosion, and wear. This durability makes it suitable for both outdoor and indoor applications. PVC is recyclable and can be reused to produce new products, reducing environmental footprint.
Maintenance Instructions:
- MDF: To clean MDF, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, wipe the surface thoroughly with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from moisture. Wipe any spills immediately. Avoid using strong cleaners or chemicals as they may damage the MDF.
- PVC: For maintenance, use a soft cloth or sponge lightly soaked with mild detergent and warm water. Place the cloth on the PVC surface and clean the area with light pressure. Avoid using strong solvents or chemicals as they may cause damage.
