- If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine, then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
- Pine wood: Use a soft cloth, lightly dampened with water, to remove dust from the surface of the wood. You can also use a mild cleanser if needed.
