1. For longer protection, coat your metal furniture with a protective cream that you can easily get from commercial stores.
2. If your furniture is treated and painted using the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting) then it is very durable and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
3. If your metal furniture does not have electrostatic paint, then you should take more care of it and keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover them with special covers and in the winter put them indoors if you can.
4.If you notice rust, then remove it with turpentine and then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
