Material Information:
- Natural Wood: Natural wood comes from a wide variety of trees, each with its unique characteristics. There are many different types in this category, such as pine, beech, oak, etc.
- Fabric: Fabric is a versatile material made by weaving, knitting, stitching, or bonding fibers together. These fibers can be natural, such as cotton, wool, or silk, or synthetic, such as polyester or nylon. The weaving of fibers creates a network that gives the fabric its properties, such as strength, softness, breathability, and elasticity. There are countless varieties of fabrics, each with its own unique characteristics and uses
- Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture construction, offering several advantages over other materials. It is extremely resistant to wear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in a demanding environment. It maintains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity. Besides the properties mentioned above, metal can also have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).
Maintenance Instructions:
- Natural Wood : Proper maintenance of natural wood is essential to preserve its beauty, durability, and longevity. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the wood. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish.
- Fabric: The maintenance of fabric depends on various factors such as the type of fiber, fabric construction, and its use. Use a mild detergent that is suitable for the type of fabric. Avoid using bleach or whitening agents, as they can damage the fibers.
- Metal: For any indoor metal, dusting or wiping with a damp cloth regularly is recommended. However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:
- For extended protection, apply protective cream, easily available in stores, to your metal furniture
- If your furniture is processed and painted with powder-coating, it is very durable and can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth.
- If your metal furniture is not powder-coated, you need to be more careful and keep it away from water and humidity. You can cover them with special covers and, if possible, place them indoors during winter.
- If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine, then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
