Description
We present to you the BRANDON bergere, in GREY color with wooden legs. The legs are black, and especially the front legs have a beautiful carved finish. The lining of the backrest has been made with a quilting technique that gives a special beauty to the bergere in combination, of course, with the high-quality textured fabric. The arms and the seat are particularly comfortable in response to the character of the armchair.
Classic but at the same time modern, you can place it next to the fireplace, a window or even in your bedroom, and indulge in its “embrace”!
Mini Story: The story of the Bergere (see bergere) begins somewhere in 1720, in the salons of the Palace of Versailles during the time of Louis XV, where it was considered the seat of the nobles and the upper class. Its construction from special wood, combined with the luxurious fabrics of the time, gave it the feeling of a throne. From its early years it was considered the “queen” of seating, both for the privacy it offered with its open arms, high back and turned sides, and for its dominance of the space as a decorative element. The Bergere armchair changed its appearance over the years (depending on the season and fashion). Dressed in floral fabrics, leather, many different patterns with various textures, even Chesterfield. Although over the years we have seen variations of the bergere design, like dressed arms, higher backrests, bigger cushions, the basic idea of the large, comfortable armchair has never changed. A big comfortable armchair is often better than a whole sofa.
Info: Quilting is a type of fabric or a sewing technique where the seams form various patterns and folds or bumps. In quilting, the fabric is like an “inflatable” that is held by the seams which “sink” the fabric. So, many small puffy bumps are created in the quilting that stand out from each other by the seams. These bumps can be diamonds, squares, stripes, as well as many other designs. The purpose of this style is to break the monotony by creating different patterns on the fabric. This improves the overall image of the object. It gives a sense of luxury and detail in the design.
DIMENSIONS:

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The frame of the armchair and the legs are made of solid wood. When we refer to solid wood, we mean wood made entirely from the trunk of a tree. Solid wood is the most expensive choice in terms of wood but stands out for its durability.
The “fillings” of the armchair, both on the backrest and on the seat, are made of medium hardness foam materials that offer premium body support.
The whole armchair is upholstered in high-quality and durable textured fabric.

Thanks to the durable construction materials, the armchair is user-friendly. A wipe with a damp cloth over the entire surface of the armchair will make it look like new.
