- For longer protection, apply a protective cream to your metal furniture, which you can easily obtain from commercial stores.
- If your furniture is treated and painted with the powder-coating method, then it is very durable and easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
- If your metal furniture does not have powder coating, then you should take extra care and keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover them with special covers, and during winter, if possible, store them indoors.
- If you notice rust, remove it with rust remover, and then apply an anti-corrosive varnish before painting the surface with rust-resistant paint.
