CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
This table is made of solid MANGO wood. When we refer to solid wood, we mean wood made entirely from the trunk of a tree. Solid wood is the most expensive choice in terms of wood but stands out for its timeless aesthetics.
MANGO is dense and strong hardwood with particularly attractive “waters” (grain). Its wood colors are unique as they incorporate several tones and colors, ranging from light shades such as dark brown to light pink or green. It is lighter than other types of wood and is water resistant.
Travertine is a sedimentary stone type of limestone made from mineral deposits from natural springs. The chemical process which creates travertine gives its stunning pitted texture and makes each piece unique. It gives a rustic and “warm” feel to any space.
*The existing cracks or those that may be created over time are due to the contraction-expansion of the living organism called solid wood, and are not a manufacturing defect, giving originality and unique design to your space. During the production process, existing cracks are smoothed and stabilized with material made from the same wood. Therefore, there may be color variations and differences in product dimensions due to the dimensions of the treated wood. These are not a product defect.
MAINTENANCE:
The table does not need special maintenance. MANGO is highly resistant to water, so you can safely clean it with wet towels.
The travertine needs a swift wipe with a wet cloth to clean. In case of spilling acidic materials on it, we recommend cleaning it quickly before it stains. You can, also, use stone sealants available on the market for long term protection.
