Material Information:
- Chipboard: Chipboard, also known as particleboard, is a composite wood material made from small wood chips, usually pine or fir, glued together under high pressure and temperature using resins. It is widely used in furniture construction, interior surfaces, and structural applications.
- LPL Decor Paper: LPL (Low-Pressure Laminate) Decor Paper is a material widely used for decorating surfaces such as furniture, doors, floors, and other interior surfaces. It is a type of decorative paper that is impregnated with resins to become durable and glossy. It is then applied to substrates such as MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard) or plywood and processed under low pressure and heat to produce products like furniture surfaces. It is available in a wide variety of colors, designs, and textures that can mimic natural materials like wood, marble, and granite.
- MDF (Medium-density fibreboard): MDF is a wood derivative. Resins (glues) are used to bond wood fibers, which are compressed with special heated presses for its production. It is denser than chipboard and resistant to wear. Also, it does not absorb any moisture.
Maintenance Instructions:
- Chipboard: For cleaning chipboard, you can use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and mild detergent. Avoid excessive use of water and keep the surface dry after cleaning.
- LPL Decor Paper: Surfaces with LPL coating are easy to clean with mild detergents and a soft cloth. It is recommended to avoid contact with liquids.
- MDF: To clean, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, wipe the surface well with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from moisture. Wipe off any liquids immediately. Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals as they may damage the MDF.
