This table is made of solid MINDI wood. When we refer to solid wood, we mean wood made entirely from the trunk of a tree. Solid wood is the most expensive choice in terms of wood but stands out for its timeless aesthetics.
Mindi is an expensive type of wood in the market, and it is known for its amazing strength, durability, and resistance to degradation. Mindi wood is also known as chinaberry, faux, cedarwood, sycamore, marindi wood, geringging, and white cedar. The main origin of Mindi wood is Holland. Today, Mindi wood is found in different parts of the world including India, Asia, and North America. The outer layer of Mindi wood (sapwood) has a yellowish-white color. Whereas, the inner layer of Mindi wood (hardwood) has a reddish color which eventually turns into reddish-brown after some time and exposure to light.
MAINTENANCE:
The fact that MINDI is included in hardwoods makes it very easy to maintain. All it needs is a dusting and when necessary, a cleaning with a damp cloth.
