No special description is needed since everyone knows this folding chair. “NAXOS” is wood impregnated in a walnut shade, while we offer it with TEXTILENE fabric upholstery in ECRU color. CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The chair is made of beech wood. Beech is a hard, strong, elastic, and heavy wood with tiny pores. This wood is elegant and has a reddish-brown color. When it is dry, beech is even considered superior to oak!
Did you know that…: Impregnation in the broadest sense is the coloring of wood (usually varnishes) by the immersion method. The normal impregnation of the wood, however, is done in a furnace under pressure. There, the wood, through the application of a preservative substance, is protected for many years from fungi and insects, as a result of which it acquires a lifespan many times longer than that of non-impregnated wood.
**Note: The product is made of natural solid wood. The existing cracks or those that may be created over time, are part of the natural form of the material and give originality and unique design to your space. During the production process, existing cracks are smoothed and stabilized with material made from the same wood.
Therefore, there may be color variations and differences in product dimensions due to the dimensions of the treated wood. These are not a product defect.
The lining we offer is textilene fabric 2X1 and 600gr/m2. TEXTILENE is a reinforced fabric and waterproof. It is polyester which means it is made of polyester yarns woven end to end and is coated with PVC.
MAINTENANCE:
The chair is very easy to maintain. A swipe with a slightly damp cloth is enough to make it look like new.
