Material Information:
- MDF: Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) is a wood derivative. It is produced using resins (glues) to bond wood fibers, which are compressed using special heated presses. It is denser than chipboard and highly resistant to wear. Additionally, it does not absorb moisture.
- PP: Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic material widely used in many fields due to its excellent properties. Although lightweight, it has high impact resistance, making it suitable for applications requiring durability against knocks and abrasion. It retains its properties even under moisture exposure, making it suitable for environments with high humidity.
Material Maintenance Instructions:
- MDF: To clean it, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, dry the surface with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it’s important to protect it from dampness. Wipe away any liquids immediately. Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals, as they may damage the MDF.
- PP: For daily cleaning of polypropylene, use a soft cloth or sponge, slightly moistened with mild detergent and warm water. Apply the cloth to the surface and clean with light pressure.
