Material Information:

• MDF (Medium-density fibreboard): MDF is a wood derivative. Resins (glues) are used in its production to bond wood fibers, which are compressed with special heated presses. It is denser than chipboard and resistant to wear. It also does not absorb moisture.

• Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture construction, offering a range of advantages over other materials. It is highly resistant to wear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in demanding environments. It maintains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity in furniture. In addition to the properties mentioned above, metal can have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or conductivity (molybdenum).

Maintenance Instructions:

• MDF:To clean it, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt.For stains, use a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, wipe the surface thoroughly with a dry cloth.MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from moisture. Wipe away any liquids immediately. Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals, as they may damage the MDF.

• Metal: If it is indoor metal, dusting or cleaning with a damp cloth at regular intervals is the recommended choice.However, if it is outdoor metal furniture, you should follow these steps:

For longer protection, apply protective cream to your metal furniture, which you can easily obtain from commercial stores.

If your furniture is processed and painted with the powder-coating method (electrostatic paint), then it is very durable and easy to clean with a damp cloth.

If your metal furniture does not have electrostatic paint, then you should take more care and keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover them with special covers and during winter, bring them indoors if possible.

If you notice rust, remove it with oil and then apply an anti-corrosive varnish before painting the surface with paint resistant to oxidation.
