Material Information:

• MDF (Medium-density fibreboard): MDF is a derivative of wood. Resins (glues) are used in its production to bond wood fibers, which are compressed with special heated presses. It is denser than chipboard and resistant to strength. It also does not absorb any moisture.
• Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture construction, offering a range of advantages over other materials. It is extremely resistant to wear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in demanding environments. It maintains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity in furniture. In addition to the properties mentioned above, metal can have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or conductivity (lead).

Maintenance Instructions:

• MDF: To clean it, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, wipe the surface well with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from moisture. Wipe off any liquids immediately. Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals, as they may damage the MDF.
• Metal: If it is any indoor metal, dusting or cleaning with a damp cloth at regular intervals is the recommended choice.

However, if it is outdoor metal furniture, you should follow these steps:

For longer protection, apply a protective cream to your metal furniture, which you can easily obtain from commercial stores.

If your furniture is processed and painted using the powder-coating method, then it is very durable and easy to clean with a damp cloth.

If your metal furniture does not have powder coating, then you should take more care of it and keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover them with special covers, and in winter, if possible, place them indoors.

If you notice rust, remove it with oil and then apply an anticorrosive varnish before painting the surface with paint resistant to oxidation.
