Material Information:
- PE Rattan: PE rattan, a popular material that mimics natural rattan, is commonly used in the construction of furniture and accessories. Made from polyethylene, a durable synthetic polymer resin, PE rattan is weather-resistant and does not degrade from exposure to sun or rain. It retains its color and does not fade, making it an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor use. Additionally, PE rattan is environmentally friendly, contributing to sustainable practices in manufacturing and product longevity.
- Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture construction, offering several advantages over other materials. It is extremely resistant to wear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in a demanding environment. It maintains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity. Besides the properties mentioned above, metal can also have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).
- Polyester Fabric: Polyester is a synthetic fiber produced from ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid polymers. It is resistant to wear, high temperatures, sunlight, and corrosion. It has excellent abrasion resistance and retains its color for a long time.
- Foam: High-density foam padding for peripheral support of the mattress, 2 cm on the top and 2 cm on the bottom.
Maintenance Instructions:
- PE Rattan: This material is easy to maintain and clean. Simply wash it with water and mild soap. Use a soft brush or cloth to gently scrub away dirt and debris. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow it to air dry. Regular cleaning will help maintain its appearance and extend its lifespan.
- Metal: For any indoor metal, dusting or wiping with a damp cloth regularly is recommended. However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:
- For extended protection, apply protective cream, easily available in stores, to your metal furniture.
- If your furniture is processed and painted with powder-coating, it is very durable and can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth.
- If your metal furniture is not powder-coated, you need to be more careful and keep it away from water and humidity. You can cover them with special covers and, if possible, place them indoors during winter.
- If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine, then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
- Polyester Fabric: Most polyester fabrics can be machine washed. If hand washing is required, use mild detergent and cold water. It’s best to let polyester items air dry instead of using a dryer, as high heat can damage the material.
