- Mesh Fabric: Mesh fabric is a special fabric characterized by its open texture and woven threads, creating small or large holes between the threads. It is used in furniture, such as office chairs and sofas, due to its comfort and ventilation capability.
- Pu – Leatherette / Leatherette (Upholstery): PU is a leather imitation and usually refers to the polyurethane polymer (Polyurethane), a material that is widely used in many fields due to its excellent properties. It has satisfactory resistance, is easy to clean, is waterproof, does not deform and is environmentally friendly.
- Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture construction, offering several advantages over other materials. It is extremely resistant to wear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in a demanding environment. It maintains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity. Besides the properties mentioned above, metal can also have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).
Maintenance Instructions:
- Mesh Fabric: Remove dust and debris with a vacuum cleaner using a soft brush attachment. Make a solution of warm water and mild soap. Dip a soft cloth into the solution, wring it well, and gently wipe over the fabric. Avoid rubbing, as this can wear the fabric.
- PU Leatherette: Use a soft cloth to remove any dust from the surface. For stains, use lukewarm water and mild soap and wipe the area. Always dry the surface afterwards with a dry cloth to avoid water marks.
- Metal: For any indoor metal, dusting or wiping with a damp cloth regularly is recommended. However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:
- For extended protection, apply protective cream, easily available in stores, to your metal furniture.
- If your furniture is processed and painted with powder-coating, it is very durable and can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth.
- If your metal furniture is not powder-coated, you need to be more careful and keep it away from water and humidity. You can cover them with special covers and, if possible, place them indoors during winter.
- If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine, then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
