• MDF (Medium-density fibreboard): MDF is a derivative of wood. It is produced using resins (glues) to bond wood fibers, which are compressed with special heated presses. It is denser than chipboard and resistant to wear. Additionally, it does not absorb moisture.

• Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture construction, offering a range of advantages compared to other materials. It is extremely resistant to wear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in demanding environments. It maintains its shape and structure impeccably, ensuring stability and longevity. In addition to the properties mentioned above, metal can have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or conductivity (lead).

• MDF: To clean, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, wipe the surface thoroughly with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so protect it from moisture and wipe any spills immediately. Avoid using strong cleaners or chemicals as they may damage the MDF.
• Metal: For indoor metal furniture, dusting or cleaning with a damp cloth at regular intervals is recommended. However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:
• Apply a protective cream to your metal furniture for extended protection, easily available from commercial stores.
• If your furniture is processed and painted using the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting), it is very durable and easy to clean with a damp cloth.
• If your metal furniture does not have electrostatic painting, then you should take extra care and keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover them with special covers and bring them indoors during winter if possible.
• If you notice rust, remove it with rust remover and then apply anti-corrosion varnish before painting the surface with rust-resistant paint.
