The armchairs are equally impressive. Their legs are 4 pieces of solid IROKO wood while the rope on the aluminum frame gives uniformity with the table. Their seat is wide, while in combination with the comfortable cushions both on the seat and on the back, they offer rest and comfort. The 3-seater sofa in a similar design is also impressive and completes the set in the best possible way. The cushions throughout the set are covered with quality fabric in BEIGE color and are filled with medium hardness foam materials for maximum comfort. CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL:
The legs of the armchairs and the sofa are made of exotic IROKO wood. IROKO wood, medium in weight, has good mechanical properties, moderate hardness, high durability, and moisture resistance. Its color, particularly attractive, is golden-light brown with sharp light-colored lines (graining). However due to its increased photosensitivity it gradually darkens to a richer brown over time. IROKO is a type of tree of tropical – central and western – Africa, which belongs to the broad-leaved species and can live up to 500 years and reaches a height of 30-40 meters.
The frames of all the set are made of aluminum. Aluminum is a metal with excellent mechanical properties and has introduced a revolution in many technological fields. Although much lighter than other metals, it has very high mechanical strength, which is why it is so widely used in various fields. In addition, it is very resistant to various forms of corrosion and requires minimal maintenance costs. It is a “green” material that can be recycled indefinitely, maintaining its characteristics without any quality degradation.
The table surface is made of tempered glass. Tempered glass is about four times stronger than ordinary glass. And unlike ordinary glass, which can shatter into jagged shards when broken, tempered glass fractures into small, relatively harmless granular pieces. As a result, tempered glass is used in those environments where human safety is an issue, like home applications etc.
Finally, the upholstery throughout the set has been made with high quality rope masterfully woven onto the aluminum frames.
