Maintenance Instructions:
- Metal: For any indoor metal, dusting or wiping with a damp cloth regularly is recommended. However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:
- For extended protection, apply protective cream, easily available in stores, to your metal furniture.
- If your furniture is processed and painted with powder-coating, it is very durable and can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth.
- If your metal furniture is not powder-coated, you need to be more careful and keep it away from water and humidity. You can cover them with special covers and, if possible, place them indoors during winter.
- If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine, then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
- Textilene: Textilene is easy to clean with simple soap and water. It does not require special maintenance or care and can remain in good condition with minimal upkeep.
- Plywood: Start by removing dust and debris from the plywood surface with a soft cloth or brush. You can also use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment for better results. If deep cleaning is needed, dampen a soft cloth with water and mild detergent or soap. If the plywood is used outdoors or in high-humidity areas, apply an appropriate finish or cover to protect the surface from further damage.
