Description
The ΤΟΒΙ stool is the definition of rustic style in furniture. The wood is in its natural color, it is round, and it has undergone a fine smoothing of the surfaces to create the form of the stool.
Rustic furniture is furniture that uses sticks, branches, or logs for a natural look. The term “rustic” comes from the Latin “rusticus” (farmer, as opposed to urban). The style has its roots in the romantic tradition.
This style is characterized by natural textures, neutral colors, simple patterns, solid wood, and natural lighting. It is also quite versatile and works great with many other styles such as traditional or industrial decor. After all, the feeling of nature works soothingly for most people. It is ideal for the home but also for hotels, Airbnb, catering areas as a decorative element, etc.
DIMENSIONS:
Φ44×43Η cm.
CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS:
The stool is made of solid SUAR wood. When we refer to solid wood, we mean woods made entirely from the trunk of a tree. Solid wood is the most expensive choice in terms of wood but stands out for its timeless aesthetics.
Suar wood is the wood of the Albizia Saman tree, sometimes called the Rain tree, a tree native to South America. This tree was introduced to Indonesia as a plantation tree. The wood is known by many different names, including Monkeypod, Samenes Saman, Parota, South American Walnut and Acadia, as well as Suar Wood. It is a beautiful well-formed wood, with plenty of cross-grain. The “heart” of the wood is close to the color of walnut, while the rest of the body of the wood is lighter in color.
Each piece of Suar wood, like each snowflake, is unique. The graining of the wood can vary greatly, making one piece appear more desirable to one customer than another.
Properly dried, suar wood is very strong and durable.
MAINTENANCE:
The durability of this wood makes it very easy to maintain. All it needs is a dusting and when necessary, a cleaning with a damp cloth.
