Product Return and Replacement Policy
Products purchased from the online store www.centerhome.gr may be returned and replaced under the following circumstances:
- If due to the company’s proven error, a different product was delivered than the one specified in your order confirmation.
- If the product shows a proven material defect or manufacturing fault. In such cases, you are required to immediately send related digital photos via email to info@centerhome.gr to verify the defect. Products assembled on-site by the company’s teams without displaying any defect are not eligible for return.
To proceed with a product return for replacement, the following conditions must all be met:
- You must contact the company by phone on the same day of receipt or the next business day to report the reason for the return.
- The product must be undamaged, even unintentionally (e.g., damage from improper packaging removal, incorrect assembly, drops, etc.).
- The product must not have been used.
- Manufacturer labels, tags, or other markings on the product must remain intact.
- The product must be accompanied by its complete original packaging in perfect condition, along with all included accessories and documents (assembly instructions, warranty information, etc.) from the manufacturer.
- The product must be accompanied by all transaction documents, such as the retail receipt, invoice, and delivery note.
For all return and replacement cases as described above, the shipping costs of the returned and new product are covered by the company, provided the transportation is arranged with a shipping company specified by the company.
However, if you choose to return the product yourself or through a shipping company of your choice, you will bear the return and replacement product shipping costs. Additionally, in any case where products, even defective ones, are picked up from a storage facility or showroom by a carrier of your choice or by yourself, they must be returned to the company’s premises the same way, with the shipping and transportation costs charged to you.
Please note that the risk of loss, damage, or destruction of the returned product remains your responsibility until the company receives it, and you are liable for any damages.
If, due to a company error, you received a different product from what you ordered, the correct product will be sent to you immediately and at no extra charge.
If, upon inspection and with the manufacturer’s or supplier’s consent, a product is found to have a proven material defect or manufacturing fault, the faulty part/component or the entire product will be repaired or replaced free of charge as soon as possible, subject to availability. Products covered by third-party warranties, such as those from the manufacturer or its representative, do not fall under this policy.
The maximum time frame for returning a product for replacement is seven (7) calendar days from the date the defect was noticed. Exceeding this period implies unconditional acceptance of the product as is and automatic forfeiture of any right to return or replacement.
Exhibition items or second-choice products, which may show some wear, cannot be returned or replaced under any circumstances.
Unjustified Consumer Withdrawal under Law 2251/1994
When you make purchases from www.centerhome.gr as a consumer, you are entitled to withdraw from the sale and return the product within a strict period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of delivery if you change your mind, with return shipping costs at your expense.
In such cases, the product must be in perfect condition, unassembled and unused (“as new”), exactly as it was prior to purchase, and in its complete original packaging (box, plastic, foam, styrofoam, etc.), including all original contents such as accessories and documents (specifications, assembly instructions, warranty, etc.) from the manufacturer. It must also be accompanied by all transaction documents, such as a retail receipt or invoice, delivery note, proof of payment, or a credit card payment slip.
Your statement of withdrawal must be clear, in writing, and submitted electronically to info@centerhome.gr, along with a product return request. The company will respond in writing via email to the address from which the request was submitted.
A withdrawal declaration is not valid or accepted unless the product is returned promptly, without undue delay, and within fourteen (14) calendar days to the company’s showroom at 1st km Nea Kallikrateia–Thessaloniki, Postal Code 63080, and all shipping and transportation costs have been fully paid.
If you submit a valid withdrawal declaration, receive written return approval from the company, and return the product within the stipulated timeframe with all transaction documents, and it is confirmed upon inspection to meet all the specified conditions for return, the company will refund the purchase price within fourteen (14) calendar days of the product’s return, interest-free.
If the returned product is used (even if only due to the opening of its original packaging), damaged, or incomplete, you are responsible for compensating the company for the reduced value, determined by the product’s condition. The company reserves the right to offset this amount against your refund claim and will return the amount equivalent to the value of the returned product within fourteen (14) calendar days.
Please note that the risk of loss, damage, or destruction of the returned product remains your responsibility until it is received by the company.
If all return conditions are met, the company will refund the amount equivalent to the value of the returned product to your bank account, the details of which must be provided via email, unless an alternative refund method is agreed upon. Shipping, transportation, assembly, installation, or any other fees beyond the product price paid for delivery are not refundable.
Products sold with an additional gift must be returned with the gift item.
Returns are not accepted for products manufactured to your specifications or explicitly personalized (e.g., custom-sized sofas, wardrobes in specific colors made to order) or products unsuitable for return for health or hygiene reasons that have been unsealed after delivery (e.g., bedding, mattress protectors with opened packaging). In these cases, as well as any other case provided for by law, there is no right of withdrawal.
