Material Information:

• MDF: Medium-density fibreboard (MDF) is a wood derivative. Resins (glues) are used to bond the wood fibers, which are compressed with special heated presses. It is denser than chipboard and durable. It also does not absorb moisture.
• PP: Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic material widely used in many sectors due to its excellent properties. Although it is lightweight, it has high impact resistance, making it suitable for applications requiring durability against impacts and abrasion. It maintains its properties even under moisture, making it suitable for use in high-humidity environments.
• Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture making, offering several advantages over other materials. It is extremely resistant to wear, ideal for furniture intended for daily use in demanding environments. It retains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity. In addition to the properties mentioned above, metal can also have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or superconductivity (molybdenum).

Material Maintenance Instructions:

• MDF: To clean it, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, wipe the surface thoroughly with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it's important to protect it from moisture. Wipe off any liquids immediately. Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals, as they may damage the MDF.
• PP: For daily cleaning of polypropylene, use a soft cloth or sponge slightly moistened with mild detergent and warm water. Apply the cloth to the surface and clean it with light pressure.
• Metal: For any metal used indoors, dusting or cleaning with a damp cloth at regular intervals is recommended. However, if it is for outdoor metal furniture, you should follow these steps:

For longer-lasting protection, apply a protective cream, which can be easily purchased from retail stores, to your metal furniture.

If your furniture is treated and painted using the powder-coating method (electrostatic painting), it is very durable and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

If your metal furniture is not electrostatically painted, you should take more care of it and keep it away from water and moisture. You can cover it with special covers, and during the winter, bring it indoors if possible.

If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine and then apply an anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
